Tour „Reflections of Kaunas Modernist Architecture“ In 2015 for its unique interwar modernist architecture Kaunas was awarded the European Heritage Label and the city is included in the UNESCO list of cities of design. Today, it is a unique legacy, testifying to the golden period of prosperity, when Kaunas was the temporary capital of Lithuania and European modernist architectural ideas flourished. Do not miss the opportunity to get acquainted with this architectural phenomenon, where modernism is combined with stylistic elements of Lithuanian national identity.
Morning Exercise on September 18th and 19th in Ąžuolynas – oak grove in the centre of Kaunas (Sporto g. 6, Kaunas). The park covers about 84 hectares and is the largest urban stand of mature oaks in Europe.
