Symposia are sessions in which multiple participants (between 3-5 contributors) deliver presentations on a shared topic or theme. Each symposium must include a chairperson and 3-5 presenters. The duration of each symposium is 1 hour 15 min, which allows 10-15 minutes per contributor (chairperson and presenters) and the remaining time for questions/discussion. The organization and duration of each communication is under the responsibility of the chairperson of the symposium. The person submitting the symposium proposal is designated as the symposium chair and is responsible for uploading the topic and a short description of symposium (up to 350 words). The chairperson is also required to upload 3-5 abstracts on behalf of individual presenters (see the Guidelines for symposia).
